Helper Phages

ADL Helper Phages

A large collection of helper phage for varied applications.

A

ll our helper phages are thoroughly validated with Sanger sequencing and ssDNA analysis and provided at high concentrations.

Helper

Cat#

Description

M13KO7

PH010L

The original derivative of M13 developed by J. Messing (1).

PH010P

Pack size with 5x PH010L

CM13

PH020L

A variant of M13KO7 with the ir3B A->G mutation at position 8418 that results in large plaque formation and increased phage yields. CM13 is equivalent to the helper phage VCSM13.

PH020P

Pack size with 5x PH020L

CM13K

PH050L

A variant of CM13 with a trypsin site between the N2 domain and the CT domain of the minor coat protein III. Elution by trypsin inactivates the pIII derived from the helper resulting in more efficient and more selective biopannings. CM13K is equivalent to the helper phages M13K (2) and AGM13 (3).

PH050P

Pack size with 5x PH050L

CM13d3

PH040L

A variant of CM13 with a deletion of gene 3 resulting in multivalent display of the pIII-fusion protein made by the phagemid. CM13d3 is equivalent to VCSM13d3 (4-5).

PH040P

Pack size with 5x PH040L

CM13CT

A variant of CM13 with a deletion of the N1 and N2 domains of pIII resulting in better and more efficient selection (6).

M13KO7d3

PH030L

A derivative of M13KO7 with a deleted gene 3. This product has been discontinued and replaced by CM13d3.
