A variant of CM13 with a trypsin site between the N2 domain and the CT domain of the minor coat protein III. Elution by trypsin inactivates the pIII derived from the helper resulting in more efficient and more selective biopannings. CM13K is equivalent to the helper phages M13K (2) and AGM13 (3). |

CM13d3 |
A variant of CM13 with a deletion of gene 3 resulting in multivalent display of the pIII-fusion protein made by the phagemid. CM13d3 is equivalent to VCSM13d3 (4-5). |
