Technical Description

Anti-M13 g8p antibody clone A4B1 is a mouse monoclonal developed especially for phage ELISA. The antibody recognizes an epitope of the main coat phage protein pVIII exposed at the virion surface, resulting in a very strong signal amplification after binding along the phage filament. As low as 10^7-10^8 cfu/ml can be detected giving one of the highest sensitivity in the field (Fig. 1).
